In una “Royal Albert Hall”, a Londra, insolitamente spoglia date le misure di contenimento della pandemia.. dove a fare la tradizionale passerella del “red carpet” sono stati solo i premiatori.. mentre candidati e vincitori, quest’anno omaggiati a distanza di un paio di mesi dalla consueta programmazione in calendario dell’evento, sono stati raggiunti via remoto.. si è tenuta ieri e l’altro ieri la74esima edizione dei “BAFTA”.. i premi britannici assegnati ogni anno ai migliori protagonisti del cinema. Anche in questo caso, a trionfare per il “miglior film”, la “miglior fotografia” e la “miglior regia” sono stati “Nomadland” e la film-maker cinese Chloè Zhao, con riconoscimento anche alla sua protagonista come “miglior attrice”, Frances McDormand. Per la migliore interpretazione maschile, data nel drammatico “The Father”, la statuetta è invece andata all’intramontabile Anthony Hopkins.. e la vittoria al “miglior costume” se l’è aggiudicata “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”, anche se non c’è stato in questo caso l’omaggio al compianto Chadwick Boseman, che era comunque fra i nominati.
E se è saltata per il lutto regale, dopo la morte del principe Filippo, la tradizionale apparizione sul tappeto rosso dei duchi di Cambridge.. il principe William e la moglie Kate Middleton.. si sono visti alla serata.. l’attrice Phoebe Dynevor, di nuovo sul set della seconda stagione di “Bridgerton”, lì in Louis Vuitton.. e la coppia Nick Jonas e Priyanka Chopra, dato il ruolo da presenter di lei..
