A porte chiuse, senza messa in onda tv nè “red carpet”.. come già minuziosamente anticipato dal sito “Variety” (QUI il precedente post), che aveva preannunciato l’obbligato ridimensionamento della tradizionale cerimonia di consegna, programmata in questo 2022 ancora di pandemia in calendario, seppur in tono minore anche per le polemiche esplose lo scorso anno attorno alla sua presunta e contestata minor inclusività.. la 79esima edizione dei “Golden Globes”, rinnovata ieri notte dalla familiare cornice del “Beverly Hilton Hotel”, in California.. con due soli interventi via collegamento, realizzati con due guest stars come Arnold Schwarzenegger e Jamie Lee Curtis.. ha reso i suoi verdetti, solitamente indicativi per la corsa agli “Oscar” e di fatto espressi nel solco delle indicazioni già emerse alla passata “Mostra Internazionale del Cinema” di Venezia (QUI).
A trionfare come “miglior film” è stata la pellicola western in visione su “Netflix” e diretta da Jane Campion,“The Power of the Dog”, che è valsa alla regista anche la statuetta per la “miglior regia” ed aveva già ricevuto proprio nella città lagunare il “Leone D’Argento”. Nicole Kidman e Will Smith, rispettivamente per i ruoli da protagonisti interpretati in “Being the Ricardos” e “King Richard”, hanno ricevuto il riconoscimento come “migliori attori drammatici”, eguagliati nella categoria.. “musical or comedy”.. da Andrew Garfield e Rachel Zegler, per le interpretazioni invece prestate in “tick, tick… BOOM!” ed il “West Side Story” (2021) di Steven Spielberg preferito allo stesso modo come “miglior film musicale”.
E per la tv, si sono imposte fra le miglior serie.. “Succession” ed “Hacks”, con i rispettivi interpreti.. ma anche Kate Winslet e Michael Keaton per le miniserie, visti in “Mare of Easttown” e “Dopesick”.. più il personaggio-chiave della controversa “Squid Game”, premiato a 77 anni per il fondamentale contributo portato al survival thriller coreano.
